Google

While at Deeplocal, I worked with Google client teams on tech-driven experiential projects, either as producer or marketer. Below are a few highlights.

Flowers

Deeplocal created a dynamic installation of 160 electromechanical flowers that hang from the ceiling of Google’s lobby in NYC. Using real-time sensing and machine learning, the flowers bloom open in response to visitors and passersby. I led marketing around the exhibit.

Be Internet Awesome

Deeplocal adapted Google’s Be Internet Awesome online curriculum into a real-world adventure designed to teach kids how to be smart, strong, safe, kind, and brave online, focusing on skills like password security and spam detection.

As project manager, I oversaw the environmental design as well as the development of five custom, interactive games with both physical and digital components.

Android Experiments

Google Android Experiments Exhibition - NYC

Spearheaded by Google Creative Lab, Android Experiments showcases innovative applications developed on the Android platform.

As project manager, I worked with Creative Lab and Deeplocal engineers to produce a touring exhibition that brought these digital experiments to life in tangible ways.

A highlight: IOIO Plotter by Ytai Ben-Tsvi, adapted with Deeplocal’s custom hardware and software to create pen-plotted portraits in real-time.

Google Store Chelsea

Google Store Chelsea Pixel Sandbox

Deeplocal is the creative technology partner for the Google Store’s interactive spaces. These hands-on “sandboxes” demonstrate the helpfulness of Google products in context and bring the brand to life in the physical world. I directed the documentation of these unique experiences.
